Patrons |

On the 5 March 1974 Ken Andrews suggested to the committee a patronage scheme whereby people would pay a fixed amount and get tickets to all the shows. The first few patrons were made Vice Presidents at a cost of £10 each. Now we have over 1000 patrons who still pay only £20 (concessions £18) a year, but are no longer made VP's of the society. In addition to all 3 of our public shows our patrons also receive tickets to an exclusive patrons evening + a christmas carol concert. The last patrons evening of this kind will took place in June 2011 and comprised a selection of One-Act plays. The evening as-ever included free cheese and wine in the interval. |
